I am Hand embroiderer with a great love of stitch, and a belief that embroidery, as with all art, should be about following your passion, not just following the rules. I love to take inspiration from the rich heritage of embroidery and find my own personal take on this. I love to teach embroidery and show people from all walks of life how awesome stitching is!

Graduate of the Royal School of Needlework (FDA Hand Embroidery 2013) and Falmouth University (BA Contemporary Crafts 2014).

More about hanny’s practice can be found in her recent article for textileartist.org

  1. Hello Hanny, I have looked at your site (info forwarded to me from West Mids EG) and see that you live in Shrewsbury. I am booking secretary for Wrekin EG, and am wondering if you would consider giving a talk to our group in 2017? SueB

      1. That’s wonderful news, Hanny
We meet on Wednesday evenings in Muxton, Telford
on the 4th Wed of the month.
At the moment the dates for 2017 remaining are:
        Apr 26th, July 20th, and Oct 26th.
Please letme know if any of these dates are suitable….

        Thanks again, SueB

  2. We are in the process of setting up an independent stitch group in Shrewsbury (previously Shrewsbury Embroiderers’ Guild) and wondered if you would be interested in doing a talk or possibly workshop in the future?
